Play Areas and Open Space
We are in a lockdown, please read the rules and FOLLOW them if you are using any of the open spaces and facilities in Shedfield, Shirrell Heath and Waltham Chase.
There should be no mix-household groups anywhere in the village, no group PT sessions and no sports being played in mixed-household groups.
Those people who are not taking the situation seriously really are putting us all at risk.

Shedfield Common
In November, the Friends of Shedfield Common planted several hundred little trees along the boundary of Shedfield Common behind the B2177 lay-by. The mix of trees, all native and suited to the south of England, will provide food and habitats for wildlife, as well as colour and interest. Over time, they will absorb greenhouse gases, and help block noise, pollution and visual intrusion from the main road. They include oak, hazel, blackthorn, hawthorn, crab apple, silver and downy birch, dog
